Lisa del Rosario is inspired to work, create, and enjoy her life as a work of art and service. She sought out many teachers, colleagues, and life experiences to help her along this path and continues to travel and learn inwardly and outwardly every moment that she can. Lisa thanks her teachers of her New York Feldenkrais® Teacher Training, especially educational director, Dr. Larry Goldfarb, upon which she completed her certification in July of 2008. She also received her BFA in Dance as a Heywood “Woody”
McGriff Presidential Scholarship recipient at the University of Texas at Austin. Lisa continues to practice and learn from her teachers in dance, yoga, vipassana meditation, qigong, tai chi, Pilates, Droznin system, and other somatic and spiritual studies to help her continue to grow as a Feldenkrais® Teacher, dance teacher, choreographer, and performer.
Through the brilliant work of Feldenkrais®, Lisa became interested in moving “smarter and not stronger,” and recovered from acute, chronic, and traumatic injuries. She currently uses this method of movement education to help herself and her clients prevent and recover from injuries, develop awareness of the mind/body, enhance physical and artistic performance, and increase comfort in everyday life.
